    Mercedes E. Wilson wears many hats: she’s a devoted mother, a loving wife, a captivating transformational speaker, an accomplished author, a television personality, and the visionary founder of the non-profit organization “For Our Daughters”. Her journey began with a breast cancer diagnosis at the young age of 28, igniting within her a passionate determination to use every experience—be it uplifting or challenging, every tear shed, and every divine gift bestowed upon her, to instill hope in others.

    Driven by her profound experiences, Mercedes established For Our Daughters Inc., a non-profit committed to empowering young women to advocate for their health and well-being. Through educational workshops, she has equipped over six thousand young women with the essential tools to engage in crucial discussions about their health.

    As a three-time author, Mercedes has penned inspiring works such as “Hope: How Faith Carried Me Through My Darkest Hours” (2018), “Abnormal: We Have Been Fooled” (2020), and “Alone in Quiet Room” (2022). Each book is crafted not only to educate but also to uplift and challenge readers to embrace the journey towards a better life.

    Mercedes shines on television as a personality on WKBW Channel 7, Buffalo NY’s ABC affiliate station. From her beginnings as a regular contributor on the renowned and longest running morning show “AM Buffalo”, she swiftly rose to the role of co-host. Presently, Mercedes tantalizes viewers twice a week on the “Recipes for 7Life” food segment, and hosts segments for the new digital platform – “7Life”.

    Beyond her media presence, Mercedes, a Foodie at heart, indulges her passion for food as the CEO of Sadies Foods – a company on a mission to bring families together one meal at a time. Her flagship product, “Sadie’s Relish”, graces the shelves of 135 Upstate NY grocery stores, including grocery giants, Tops Friendly Markets, Wegmans, and PriceChopper/Market 32, with plans for expansion into the Pittsburgh market. With its irresistible flavor and quality, Sadie’s Relish is destined to become a household staple—truly earning the title of “America’s Relish”.

    Yet, amidst all her achievements and all she has overcome, Mercedes considers her greatest blessings to be her remarkable husband and four wonderful children.
