Take a Walk with Me

Ladies!  We have settled for far too long.  When it comes to romantic relationships, friendships and everything in between, we deserve the best.  We can’t be afraid to demand respect from other and be the bigger person to make sure we give it as well.  Our relationships are only as good as our communication and our friendships can be without gossip and backbiting.  Curl up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa, read this book and let’s do it!  We were called to be abnormal!

Take a Walk with Me

My book, titled “Hope,” is now on sale in softcover, hardcover, and e-book.  I invite you to take a walk with me on my life journey as I share some of my most intimate and challenging experiences, and how I came out on the other side.

Most of us will leave this earth never having shared the very things that make up who we are.  Your story could very well uplift or even save someone. While we don’t always learn from our own mistakes, I truly believe that we may be able to learn from someone else’s.  I didn’t always have a voice, but I found it through the courage I gathered to write this book.

While many may know my story as a breast cancer survivor, however, I wanted to go beyond that and get to the source of my grief and how I overcame and empower others with the steps to do the same.  I am eternally grateful to everyone who has supported me and contributed to who I am today! My desire is that it touches all who read it and serves as a source of encouragement and Hope!

  • I really enjoyed how you painted the picture of what each opportunity birthed and how opportunities taken advantage of beget other opportunities. I also loved how you discussed how God transformed your once broken relationships with your mom, Dad, and sisters. My mother used to say to me that every sickness is not death and every goodbye ain't gone! Your mended relationships was evidence of this. I also connected with what you said in the top of Chapter 7, "the bigger the trial, the more God can trust you with what is coming on the other side of it. It also made me recall the really dark periods in my own life. Mostly all of my triumphant times were birthed from those darkest hours. The greater the struggle, the sweeter the victory, ya know?! The most amazing part for me is how you descriptively laid out God's love for me. At the end of your book, there was evidence that, it's not about any one of us individually, it's about all of us. Basically, I felt his love for me through your story!
